The programme was held in conjunction with MRSM Taiping's new semester opening week.

Infotech Quest general manager and programme coordinator Mohd Ikhwan Syahid Abdul Kadir,  a former student, said he wanted to do something  for his alma mater.

"I am happy to be able to share my experiences with the students and hope to expose all of you to the airline industry," he said.

Ikhwan was a pilot instructor who flew a Boeing 737 when he was with Malaysia Airlines.

He brought four pilots who used  four Cessna  training stimulators to teach the students to fly.

Each student was given 10 minutes to  fly and 10 minutes on aptitude and coordination tests.

They were also taught skills such as  basic handling, taking off, climbing, descending  and landing  the aircraft. By M. Dattaya
